Kidsgrove is a unique wooden playground that was built completely by volunteers in the community. The play area is filled with structures of all shapes and sizes for kids to play on, and the playground is constantly being expanded and improved. There is also a pavilion beside the playground that can be used for picnics.


Anthony Selin Park and Pavilion

Reserve the Anthony Selin Pavilion by calling the Borough Office at (570) 374-2311.
This Park area, adjacent to Kidsgrove playground, contains a great picnic pavilion with restrooms and kitchen facilities. Picnic tables provide seating for approximately 60 people.  There are fields to play sports on, a space for horseshoes, and play equipment for kids age 5 or under. Anthony Selin Park also hosts supervised fun activities for children during the summer months.


Life Trail and Anthony Selin Woods

Located behind Anthony Selin Park, the Life Trail is a walking trail which includes a series of 10 Wellness Stations. Each station provides activities designed for those over the age of 50.  These activities encourage muscle strengthening, balance and flexibility. Citizens using the trail can choose to become a Life Trail member, earn points for their recorded activities, and even win prizes.

Pump House Park and Gazebo

The Pump House Park includes a building that is being used for council meetings and committee meetings during the renovations of the Borough Office at 1 North High Street.  This newly renovated facility contains restrooms and a kitchen, as well as a meeting space that comfortably seats about 30 people. The Gazebo is another great feature of the park, located in an attractive setting along Penns Creek. The Gazebo is a popular spot for outdoor weddings, and also hosts a concert series of local performers each summer.


 Pump House Playground AKA Mini-Playground

Across the alley from the Pump House Park is a small fenced-in play area, full of brightly-colored playground equipment. Swings, slides and other features make this playground a fun place for kids.


 Moose Playground

This large playground includes an area with a variety of play equipment, as well as a shaded pavilion. There is also a basketball court for kids of all ages. Located in the middle of town, this playground is convenient and full of fun activities.


 Isle of Que Boat Launch

South Front Street
This newly renovated area on the Isle of Que includes a boat ramp for easy access in and out of the Susquehanna River, a paved parking lot, and an attractive area of river bank. The boat ramp was recently improved and expanded, and provides a great service to all those who love and use the river.


Rotary Field and Pavilion

This space contains a newly constructed picnic pavilion, as well as a baseball field. When the weather is nice, kids can often be spotted playing sports in the grassy field next to the pavilion.

The Selinsgrove Pool is a popular summer spot to relax and cool off. Built on top of a hill, the pool overlooks the Borough of Selinsgrove and the Susquehanna River valley. The pool complex is located within a residential area, and is conveniently right next to the Selinsgrove Elementary and High Schools. The pool features a main swimming area, a diving well with diving boards, a toddler pool, a bathhouse, and pavilion area. There is also a concession stand, grassy hillside, and hand-painted scenes covering the building walls. The complex is completely fenced in, and is a great location for people of all ages during the summer months.


 Ice Skating Rink (outdoor)

This man-made pond is flooded with water each winter season to provide an enjoyable skating area in town. The rink is completely maintained by volunteers in the community, and provides outdoor fun during the winter months. There is a building next the skating rink that was recently renovated to include concessions and a cozy fireplace. Rental ice skates are available.
