 Request for Proposal (RFP)

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS – Real Estate Appraisal Services

The Borough of Selinsgrove is requesting proposals for state certified real estate appraisal services for a select list of flood damaged properties within the Borough.  The appraisals shall establish the value of the residential properties on the day before the flood damage occurred, generally accepted as September 7, 2011.  One or more firms, depending upon the number of appraisals that can be completed within the required time frame, will be selected to complete all of the requested services, and on the basis of the lowest anticipated costs to the Borough of Selinsgrove.

The Borough anticipates that appraisals on at least 8 and no more than 12, single-family, residential properties will be required to be completed between December 6, 2011 and December 27, 2011.  All but one of the single-family residential properties are located on the Isle of Que.  Proposals shall indicate any limitation on the number of appraisals that can be completed within the stipulated time frame.

Additional details on the services to be provided are available by contacting the Borough Office.  The Borough will be accepting proposals until December 5, 2011 and will authorize the required appraisals on December 6, 2011.  Questions should be directed to John Bickhart, Borough Manager.
